The Highway Department is responsible for maintaining all of the Town’s roads, bridges, and culverts as well as all facilities and properties of the Town. Currently, the Town actively maintains approximately seventy miles of roads — fifty miles of which are gravel — and five Town facilities. The Highway Department operates out of two facilities — a main highway garage located just west of the Westminster I-91 interchange and a materials storage facility on the west side of the Town in the Westminster West Village area.
